Re: C&C 30 MKII Questions?
Drumroll, I forgot to see if I could find the sail makers name, in fact I forgot about this thread.
I sailed the rest of the season with the 110. Conditions vary greatly where I sail, often hourly. It's New England weather and there are lots of land masses to boot (Fisher's Isl. Sound).
The boat sails well, but, compared to my old 30 MKI, it easily becomes over powered. Reefing often is something I'm going to have to get used to.
Since doing lots of head sail changes is not an option, I'm going to start the season with the 110 and change to the 135 as it gets warmer.
The good news is that reefing the main on this boat is dead easy and it shapes nicely. Double line reefing led to the cockpit on the first reef and single line reefing on the second reef, also led to the cockpit.
