OK, good points. I don't think I'll have a problem with it filling all the way, and I do leave the cover off. Hopefully, we starting geting snow anyway, instead of rain followed by cold weather.
On a brighter note, my tarp job has held up nicely, despite wind gusts approaching 70 mph this past Friday. (We had a wind gust of 125 mph on Mt. Mansfield!)
