I need help identifying the manufacturer or a source of a replacement part. This is the quadrant bracket from our 1964 Glander Tavana 33.
The rudder stem is bronze and circular cross section as it comes through the stuffing box; from there it is machined to a square cross section. This portrayed part is square steel tubing welded to a bracket which has two holes that mate to the two holes on the quadrant. It is a loose fit on the stem with bolts through the square section that are adjusted to pinch the stem allowing for final adjustment of the quadrant alignment. Here the two screws have rusted out and subsequently, the quadrant simply rotates around the stem - no steering control at all.
I believe I can have the part fabricated but I would like to find a replacement part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
