kalina... did you have a written contract? This may be something you want included in the next one. Although, forcing someone to sell property that they don't want to sell is probably going to go badly one way or the other.
No, there was no contract signed, but the draft was agreed to in principle. He had the right to refuse or change his mind as I did. Even during the 3 week vacation period I waited, that's where the foolish comes in. I suppose and believe most folks would of honoured even verbal agreements differently.
Lessons learned, and will do it differently the next time.
You are right...forcing the issue solves nothing really!
