Re: hauling her home instead of storing at the yard

I save about $1000.00 hauling home but am only about 12 miles from the boat yard.

I save on:

Storage fees $1700.00 vs. a $530.00 round trip truck ride
Shrink wrapping $900.00 vs. $300.00 (DIY with a buddy who has the guns)
Pressure washing $200.00 vs. free (own a pressure washer)
Stand rentals $210.00/winter vs. free (Got them used for $20.00 each)

It costs the same on:

Haul / Launch
Mast step/unstep (our mast HAS to come out each winter due to design)
Mast storage
