chef2sail: Yeah, I thought it couldn't really be worse here than my former home, Miami. But instead of just the crazy driving habits from every country in Latin America, plus snowbirds, this region has the crazy driving habits from every country in the world and every area of the US. At least in Miami the cabbies drive like it's the gran prix; in DC they drive like little old ladies! I guess I'm just used to driving in Miami summer monsoon conditions where you can see at most one car length in front of you, but here a few sprinkles and US-50 is a parking lot.
I second chucklesR on Deep Creek; haven't been for the Sunday brunch, but have enjoyed lunch there.
