I sailed out of Boston for a number of years and consider it my home port, but Salem has an abundance of moorings at a somewhat reasonable price, so I ended up there last year.

I am still looking for a town somewhere in Massachusetts that is less than 10 miles from a good harbor and less than 10 miles from my work. The problem is, I work pretty close to Boston, and I hate long commutes.
