AIS is a great safety invention
Check the range of those ships. The red range rings are 10nms apart... So the second ring is 20 nms from me.
Not only can you see them, they can see you and you are being recorded in their Black Box so they can't deny you weren't there.
Oce you have it you won't sail without it.
