I duct tape them to the bulkhead, like they have a choice in the matter!

I don't have much to add to what has already been suggested except to emphasize that boat time is some of the best times we have as a family. Although we haven't been for two years, if all goes as planned we'll be back in the water this coming season and the anticipation is pretty awesome!
