So it wasn't me who was confused!

I do think that's it.. There's an older Islander 32/33 that's probably a McGlasson design as well.

While Finch did the 1970 model it's possible someone else retooled and tweaked the design, and redesigned the keel and rudder, likely modified the deck/cockpit molds as well. Could even have been done in-house by Islander. Looks like it could be the same basic hull though.
