That's really simple. I would have sworn that there would have been some kind of fold-down leg. On my boat ('79) the moulding of the settee part of the liner has a depression under what would be the aft end of the slider. The depression is squarish, from the front to the back of the settee, and about maybe 14, 15 inches wide? I think it's about 3/4 inches deep, just enough depth to put a fold down leg underneath.

Sometimes my detective work is flawed. But by gosh, I may just do it anyhow. I already have to find space for two table legs, a removable leg for the settee slider is just one too many.
