And who amoung us is not a little bit of a show-off?

I think they're handy. I don't push them on folks, just folks I would exchange information with anyway:
* Marinas.
* Vendors providing service.
* Folks I hope to meet again and folks where I would like to swap blog URLs.
* Folks in my home marina that I hope will call if my boat starts sinking. And I would like their number, for the same reason.

I print my own and don't use more than a few dozen each year.

Boat pic or my face? The boat's prettier, and since cats arn't pretty, that tells you something.
