Man, on no account spend $5k on the list you describe.
Fix it yourself.
Re-condition those injectors.
Buy some new engine mounts.
And if the heat exchanger is not giving trouble, leave it until it does.
On NO account buy another Volvo to put in there. Volvo engines have a competitive price new, but the spare parts are shockingly expensive. How does $2000 for an exhaust manifold grab you (for a 20 year old engine). It certainly grabs Volvo. I learned that lesson in 1998, when my engine was 20 years old. The equivalent part for a 40 hp Lister-Petter was 1/7 of that.... one seventh.
