Re: Endeavour Yachts - Opinions 40-45'
Just to chime in...I was looking for an Endeavor 32, but ended up purchasing a Irwin 30, which I have really grown to like after my mini restoration. Although not the same class / size boat you are seeking, I am well pleased with my purchase, and like you, this is my first vessel out of the twenty footer range, so it has worked out well...If I were to live aboard, I am thinking that a 34-38 footer would be sufficient for me. The new boats are great for speed and high tech, some lack aesthetics, but the bottom line if you are not a millionaire + you will not have to worry about making that decision. That said, for all the 'not blue water ' rap Endeavor’s and Irwin’s take, don't believe it...just make sure you get one of the good hulls ( that is researching the models / years and then doing a physical check for blistering etc.) The rock solid hulls are just that, and up-grading the deck to hull connection with a bolt through process is doable on many of the models...my 30 footer is solid, top & bottom....Hope this helps you.
