Re: Deck Soap, low cost

So the critical path decision to make is whether to wax the deck or not. That leads to the path of cleaners to use. Thanks for the great info!

I think I am going no wax route like PDQ suggested. The amount of time to wax my deck is way too much time not sailing. I only have the weekends to sail so if it's not raining I AM SAILING!

So I am heading the Simple Green route.

I did find this which may help with the very stubborn issues on the non-slip:
3M Scotch-Brite 405-R Multi-Purpose Pad Holder, 4-11/16" Length x 2-51/64" Width x 16" Thick, Black: Industrial & Scientific

And refils:
3M Scotch-Brite 9488R All Purpose Scouring Pad, 5-1/4" Length x 4" Width, Blue (Case of 40): Industrial & Scientific

I did have this on hand and it helped. Not like a power washer but the soap dispenser worked great. I played with the nozzle settings and it was a bit better than a standard hose nozzle. It might also be nice for my anchor washdown which I will install in a month or so. EZ Jet Water Cannon: Patio, Lawn & Garden
