I'm old school and prefer stand alone instruments, and I'm also a big fan of Furuno radars. I've had several (mostly the CRT models, and one older LCD) and all have been excellent and completely reliable. Having radar overlaid on the chartplotter would be great, but if the chartplotter display dies...
