This is a good learning experience. Those are cool. The most challenging part will be finding a way to rationalize replacing my current tank. I have a 2004 boat with limited cooking on board. I think the tank is low now, but has never been refilled since the boat was new, so viewing the current level is not a pressing issue. I'll just fill it up once per decade and not worry about it.

BTW: Propane is commonly indoors on fork lift trucks, but special precautions are taken and spare tanks are always kept outside.
