I am a licensed captain with some sail and extensive power boat experience and am looking to expand my sailing skills with an experienced captain. Not looking for a paid position. Here’s what I’m all about:
· 57 year old newly retired professional
· Current 100 ton mate near coastal, master inland license; held license for the past nine years
· I have crewed on five trips between San Diego – Cabo – Manzanillo; two by sail and three by power
· Native San Diegan with 35 years of offshore fishing experience
· Most experience is with my own boats and various yacht charters in San Diego since I’ve been licensed
· Majority of charter experience has been with higher end fishing charters in San Diego; worked as second captain/night driver
· Do not drink, smoke, or use drugs - marathon runner
