Try the cruising guide " landfalls of paradise". Or Charlies charts of the pacific.

Maybe out of date, but will give you some information. Seems like these were my bibles a few years back.

Also try the SCCA website for cruiser's reports.

Latitude 38 usually has current info in the 'Changes in latitude " section.
