On the topsides, fill any deep gouges with some epoxy filler to protect the glass fabric. Scrape the bottom with a good two handed paint scraper and put fresh bottom paint on per the advice given previously.

Assuming the boat is just cosmetically challenged, go sailing and do some extensive reading on boat refinishing over the summer.

Next fall you will be in a position to know what you want to do with the boat. A Coronado 35 has a LOT of topside surface to paint so you want to be sure you are well prepared and know exactly what you want to do.
