Re: Well here we go

Welcome aboard!

I did the same thing last season. I have been land locked until May of last year. I have wanted to sail my whole life. I moved to Kemah TX last year and bought a 1987 Newport 27 in fairly good shape. I took asa 101 thru 105 and have been sailing every weekend since. I have taken the time to learn the systems, have done several engine and fiberglass repairs, replaced sails, and went up the mast for the first time in my life last weekend to replace a anchor light bulb. Not once did I NOT have a **** eating grin on my face. My little coastal cruiser has given me and my family more enjoyment in one season than I can even explain. Enjoy, Learn, and share!
