If starting from scratch, I'm just a fan of having as many amps as practical. Penny wise and pound foolish, if you were to learn later that you needed/wanted the upgrade.

There is a break point in alt size where you either need two v-belts or a serpentine. I like the serpentine, and it would permit you to more easily upgrade even further, if that was necessary. Always keep a spare belt, as they have a tendency to break without ever looking worn, Better yet, change it on a regular interval, regardless of condition.
