Penobscot Bay

My wife and I are headed to the other chart in July. We haven't gotten past Muscongus Bay yet. It takes about three days to get there from our side, so with 6 days to cruise, it's turn around at Port Clyde and head back. Well, this year were going to sail dead up wind at 65 knots to Camden to launch. So, the question is:

Where are some good, secluded islands/anchorages in that area? W'eve picked out a couple of places but we want to be able to go ashore, maybe a trail run or explore a little, but not trespass or offend, bad form. We are also not into the touristy stops. We are not "from away". (My family's been in-state since 1640.) We've got a shoal keel so we sail thin water pretty well.
