Re: Going to look at a Watkins 27.....

Two month update......

Tiller is re-lamm'd and well protected by several coats of poly varnish
Running rigging is home, awaiting decision on what to use/buy
Fwd hatch s home , waiting for Lexan lens
Alternator's been checked out.. all good. New belts on hand
Have the new 'shoot-thru' depth finder in stock, as well as an almost-new Y valve for the waste lines
Previous post mentioned a Genoa. Well; that one's near ta a 150%er and have now secured another very nice condition North jib; smaller, 85%er for normal/storm use.
A cube "dorm" reefer is to hand as well as a small microwave; for when at the slip
I picked up a factory refurb battery charger/tender on E-Bay.. two bank, 10 A, all types and three or four "phases" depending on how ya count
Replacement sink and stove are in the works in my shop. I may or may not use them..tho they are "period" to the boat..avocado green !

So, all that remains is for Spring to arrive and work 'down the Bay' to commence.
