It really depends on what batteries you have. Thick plate deep cycle batteries don't tend to deal as well with high loads as other types but this is more of a voltage drop issue to the equipment than overly detrimental to the batteries. Any load above your banks Ah capacity corrected Peukert will result in less Ah than the bank is rated for but a good battery monitor will keep track of this.
