Thanks for all the replies everyone. One thing I'm coming across (especially with Precision Sails) is the ability to choose radial weave vs crosscut. The radial weave is obviously superior but more expensive.
However, now I find myself getting back to the same old argument - yes it might be better, yes the quality may be better, but for a daysailor who doesn't race is it really necessary? I can find crosscut sails (Precision, FX, Ullman, etc) for $500-600. The radials are $1100.
I guess I just wondered what your personal thoughts were given the kind of sailing you do. I CAN afford the radials, but that's a big chunk of dough for me.
