I pulled a M15 out of a 1980 27 using a vang attached to my boom,& replaced my rear oil seal. I took of the engine compartment door,alternator & transmission, disconnected engine wires ,exhaust,throttle and tranny cables,water hoses. put wood around water intake inlet,took off mounting nuts (left
engine mounts undisturbed) used a sissor (car)jack to raise engine off the mounts and tightened the vang to take it out of the compartment. i did this alone so i replaced the seal in the cabin. hope this helps Jim
