Second photo is a Cat. 38 next to my Allmand 31 on the hard. Because of the water line and the hull speed the Cat will be faster but the mast are the same as is the keel size. So what you have is the interior of a 38 with the cost of a 28. From what I've seen so far the hull speed of the Allmand is 7.2 knots under hull for power or sail on the Pamlico, GPS confirmed. I'll take that from a cruiser any day.
