Cool cruisers meetup sail labor day Corpus Christi

I did this for Memorial day, had a blast in Galveston Bay.

Going to do it again Labor Day in Corpus Christi Bay and Laguna Madre.

I'd like some other boats to join me, I usually have plenty of people interested from Austin, they are generally good sailors and partiers.

Suppose I launch at
13428 S Padre Island Dr

Corpus Christi, TX 78418

Sleep somewhere around 27.622916,-97.236042 friday night.
Google shows water, but theres no depths on the chart, need to check fishing maps (something to do)
Sail to Port Aransas Marina On Saturday
Sail to Rockport on Sunday
Pull out Monday and drive home

Check out the meet up here

Re: cruisers meetup sail labor day Corpus Christi

We have a plan now. I have ten signed up but the boat holds four comfortably. We would really welcome another boat to join us.

Here is a tour of the marinas in eastern Corpus Christi Bay, along with our float plan:

Happy sailing.

Download OpenCPN and the charts for your area. That should give you some idea of the depths where you are going.

It was a dud, no one showed and it rained every morning when I wanted to start out. Then I got caught in a squall, so I motored into the marina, pulled out the boat headed home. Stopped at my mothers house and fixed her faucet.

Not much fun.
