Would REALLY like to see a module that shows "Active threads" in one of the columns (Right side perhaps?) on the forum's front page. Its nice to log on and be able to jump right in to whats hot.

I've not read this entire thread so apologize if this has already been mentioned...

It would be great if it were possible to select 'No Politics/No Off-Topic' on the android app like can be done via the website/browser.

Thx,

Once you click Submit and your message is posted, there is an Edit button to the left of the Quote button at the bottom of the message box.

At the top of this forum thread are a few posts on getting started.

I seem to remember a thread that explained how to turn the Chat function off. I have searched to no avail.
Could someone please direct me to that thread? (or tell me how to do it)
Maybe it could be a sticky.

Maybe it could be a sticky.

This works for the session:
1) Click on the button in the lower right hand corner that has a people count.
2) In the resulting pop-up window, press the pane containing a gear and down caret symbol
3) In the resulting pop-up menu, select the "Turn Off" menu item.

That's it! Chatting is off for the rest of the session.

For some this only lasts a session and that's what gets them angry. It would be nice if it could be turned off completely for those who want that.

When I turn it off, it stays off until I turn it back on, even across computers. Apparently that doesn't happen for everyone.

Hmmm ... now here's a chance to do a little troubleshooting. That means you somehow save the choice, i.e. the state of your selection. The question is whether it is saved in your browser or whether it is saved on the server (perhaps in your profile). What happens when you delete all the cookies in your browser then go to Sailnet? Does your choice go away?
