Re: Sailnet Suggestion Box

In the classifieds it seems there are too many Old Postings, those with and without photos can slow a web site. Seems u may want to clean house there?

Re: Sailnet Suggestion Box

It would be helpful (to me, anyway) if the name of the original poster on a thread was highlighted in some way on every post they made in that thread--different color, little icon or "OP" next to it, etc. You can't always tell from the contents of a post and sometimes it helps to know that the poster is the OP. Of course one can always check by going to the top of the thread, and I find myself doing that frequently, especially with the longer, more involved threads, but well, I'm basically lazy and would rather know at a glance :-)

Re: Sailnet Suggestion Box

More of a question that a suggestion - is the new "boat search" tab functional yet? Have tried it a few times, and all I get is a blank page and a spinning wheel.

Re: Sailnet Suggestion Box

first my apologies if this has been mentioned previously.

wondering if we could have a location for folks to post their willingness to crew on our others boats. a location, skill level and availability schedule of sorts.

ex: beginner with ASA 101 cert willing to crew local on lake whats its name on week nights from 5-7. located in boston MA will travel up to 20 miles etc.

I know we have a "crew wanted" section but that seems to be for long cruises. thinking more of the beginners who are looking to get some casual and local time on boats.

maybe post it as a sticky in crew wanted or general conversation section.

Thanks
