The simplest thing for us to do is to shut-down this "Anaxagoras1986" account, and you can just sign-up again with your preferred username.

Let us know.

Okay. Will do. Your current username will be "banned" and you can sign-up with a new name.

May I suggest that you mention in your signature line (or under your avatar) that you are the poster previously known as "Anaxagoras1986"? At least for a while until folks figure out who you are again.

Can that old account just get deleted? It appears that I was banned and my email was banned with it. Is it possible to lift my ban on my email address?

Thanks for the help!

Adam,

I can't do that as a mod, but I will refer your request to Admin. We usually simply "ban" the old account and folks start a new one. I've never had anyone mention the difficulty with e-mail...hmmm. But it does seem you've been able to sign-up again, no?

Yes I had to create a temp email address for account creation. Yahoo allows you to make temp addresses that expire after a while. I'd prefer to get back to the original email if I can.

Thanks again for the help!
