Remove OT, Politics, Etc. From "Today's Posts" Search Results

Sub-forum title says "...and Suggestions Box," so I guess this is the place...

TBH, I come here and to the other sailing forums for sailing-related discussion. Would prefer not even seeing the subjects from OT, Politics, etc. appear in the results of "Today's Posts."

Under "New Posts" are two choices that leave out politics and off topic if that helps.

Now I know you fairly well Semi - which makes the above statement pretty funny.

Anyway - they already have a way for you to be very happy with the sub menus under "New Posts". No reason to globally hide anything.

(PS - Of course you have to be logged in to get this feature. Which is even more admirable when you think about it.)

Ah, I missed that. Was using "Quick Links" and "Today's Posts" all along . Thanks, guys. That suggestion does the trick for me.
