Just a little update - a number of enhancements have been made to the site to make sure it's running fast. The underlying databases does get backed up at 1:00 AM EST, 10 AM EST and 6 PM EST daily which will cause the site to run slow for about 10 minutes at those times.

The site in general is just too darn slow! I give up on the site more offer than not when I visit just because it tales so long to look at something that turned out to be nothing and till long longer to get back to where I was before.

First visit in about a week or so, and am using firefox 4 now.

Page load takes about three minutes hanging on 'app.serviceengine.com' or some such. Problem solved by installing flashblock and adblockplus. I didn't see this on firefox 3.x series.

I hate posting in these resurrected threads, but since it's here I guess it's better than starting a new one.

The site is loading "slowly" when it attempts to connect to "app.serviceengine.com"

In the left navigator, under the Quick Menu, there is an error block.
"Not Found

The requested URL /daily-specials/sn-daily-specials5.html was not found on this server."
(Your results may vary as I have ads blocked from Firefox)

On my machines it appears that the site is timing out on the above URL before displaying the rest of the page content.

I noticed pages taking a Loooooong time to load starting yesterday. search function also very slow.

Thanks for pointing that one out, Jordan. I put app.serviceengine.com in my hosts file as 127.0.0.1 and I no longer have to wait 30 seconds to see the page.

Woohoo! Looks like the Admin released the parking brake. It's smokin' fast now in Safari.
