Great Sailnet Buying Experience

Just wanted to say thanks to Rob and the SN store for doing a great job on my recent holding tank order.

The prices are great - and I got excellent service through the chat feature, directly from Rob, etc.

Keep up the good job fellas!

As a suggestion, I would say that it might be cool to combine the Marine.com and SN stores into one store (if possible from a business perspective). I for one wouldn't mind popping into the Marine.com site when I click on the SN store here. As it is, I generally look at both stores anyway - which is not necessary most of the time. Just a thought - as it seems it would be a lot easier on you guys to keep only 1 store up-to-date.

Regardless - I'll keep supporting you guys. Thanks for SN!

I also had great service through SN when I purchased 2 Mustang PFDs about two years ago. SN is the only company that could deliver the MD3183 within a reasonable time frame (<1month), despite several other internet sources claiming they were "in stock." I called the office to confirm, and they were very helpful. I received the PFD's in less than a week. I posted a detailed comment elsewhere.

I hope that everyone that posts in SailNet at least checks their prices.

I had to smile at Smacky's post.

I have been trying all afternoon to make a purchase online. At the point I confirm my purchase it fails. Then I tried to open a help desk ticket. But when it compares the 3-digit code with teh number I insert (part of the anti-spam stuff), it refuses to recognize the proper code.

I can only imagine the satisfaction I would have, if only the website would allow my to make the purchase :-)

Yeah it goes back to my point about tying the two online stores together. Much less to manage. And SN always seems to have more problems than marine.com. The prices are awesome. No doubt. But they gotta figure out a better shopping and customer service solution to truly rock.

That said, I don't know squat about their business. And I truly appreciate the forum. So take it all with a grain of lake salt.

PS - I did indeed have great experience with the tank. Of course I am a celebrity.
