Spam

Dear web master,

I am sorry to say that a membership at this web site obviously produce a lot of spam mail. The page itself is very interesting, but the spam is annoying. A solution to that will be most appreciated.

Sincerely, Rainbowlady

Also, in your only other post (Crew Wanted), you made the mistake of publishing your e-mail address. Unfortunately, there are internet "bots" that relentlessly scour the web for addresses, adding them to the SPAM mailings.

It may be too late now, but you should probably go back and edit that post so that your e-mail address is in an unconventional format.

Thank you for your reply!
I am aware of this. The case is I do not get spam on the email adress in my text, but the adress I registered with. The register routine only accept valid email adresses/formats as username. I think this is where the problem is.

I've been a member here for some years now and I don't receive any non SailNet specific emails. The various SailNet stuff can be turned off in you User CP if you don't want to receive it.

What other Spam are you receiving ?
