I've always liked the slinky line in his sig. It's a nice contrast to the "see one another through" line - because, face it, at some point you have to make the choice - more patience, or the stairs.

Quote:
We are not primarily on earth to see through one another, but to see one another through

Some people are like slinkies: not really good for anything... but you can't help laughing when you push them down the stairs

Wow, I just noticed this thread. Thanks for the info. I've actually met Paul (it's true!) and sailed with him. He crewed with me on a daysail out of Ft Lauderdale into the ocean. He's a lot of fun, good crew, and has a great outlook on life. I'll send him a note.

Just to let you all know, I told him that if he gets well quickly, I would give hom a SmackAttack Get Out of Jail Free Card. Only good for one post and must pass the profanity filter!! Watch out if he comes back Smack!!!! (I figured you would take it in good humor anyways).

the cuban here. Paul is doing better. This account was set up so that he can read what's going on.
He really enjoys the messages. He will be back and will definitely need that profanity filter. As he's said for years, too many to piss off to die; he's making a list.

Thank you all for taking time to remember him in your thoughts and prayers.

GD, BS, F*(&, and goofy are commonly used by CP.
