StillRaining - sad family loss.

Today I received news that Scott's brother in law has been killed in tragic circumstances. Please spare a thought and a prayer if you will, for Still and his family at this time. They were close.

One of the amazing things about places like SailNet is how you become friends with people who you have never met and who seem to become part of your life despite the physical distance.

Scott, StillRaining, is one of those folk. A thoroughly decent chap, someone with so little malice in him it is amazing. In the time I've known him he has certainly had his fair share of ups and downs yet I've never heard him complain nor seen any evidence that his faith has been shaken. Even to an old non believer like me that says much about a person's character.

Cheers Scott....keep your chin up mate, hold your family tight.

Andrew

Amen to that.. this was a senseless tragedy that will have a big impact on the local community in Alaska, as well as the families involved.

Our deepest sympathies to Still and his clan.

I'm floored, not that I know the circumstances behind what is going on. Scott is a hoot, as is his daughter who crewed on my boat a few times.

Thinking of you, Scott. Know that God IS right there with you to lead and guide you through this horrible time.
