Not that I have been, but you need to come up for the Bob Perry boat roundevous in Port ludlow.......i'll sail us over, we can pretend my Tony Castro boat is a BP one!:B

Aug 19-21, not sure if this link will go direct, it may to to the main site, then click the perry roundezvous on the left to get info. PL is about 15 miles from me in Edmonds, I am about 40 or so miles north of Sea-tac where you would come in......... bob is about 20-30 min north of me, CC another 30-45 north yet, as is erps, stilly......deodenja is sorta on the way to my house, boats are literally across the dock from N and S from ea other, I have a pic showing this somewhere........ tenuki is all of a 1/2 mile north, E to U dock at marina.......

I'm one fuzzball that loves the mob on Cruising Anarchy and BP is a major reason for that.

This recent sadness in his life and the quite incredible moral support offered by forumites from across many sites is something I found seriously heartening. We've seen it before I know. I witnessed it when my dad died a couple of years back and of course none of us are likely to forget Courtney in a hurry.

By all means come to the Rendezvous in your Catro boat. We'll provide you with a strap on canoe sterrn for the weekend. It's going to be a very special rendezvous this year. I'm not sure what that means yet but I want it to be big. Spike always enjoyed the rendezvous.

And, if you are ever cruyising up into Port Susan swing by my house. I have a mooring in front. I'm on Tulare Beach.

A friend of mine. Paul Lever used to show up in his J37c Jeorgia, not sure he will for a few years, last I heard they were in Mexico. He has a blog too. I do not ge up that way as often, now being moored in edmonds vs Everett. If you look up the back GOB articles, my boat was reviewed last july/august. Another boat in edmonds is this month, Blast an S2, a dufour 27 and ranger 26 are also coming up in the next 12 months. I'd like them to review a CS37merlin that is across the dock from me, another sailnetter, along with a castro design from the same time. You can see the similarities. Probably like looking at your designs if you will from equal time frames.

Thanks. The outpouring from sailors I don't even know has been remarkable. About 400 people showed up at Spike's wake.

Tonight there is a fund raiser for his scholarship fund starting at 7pm at the Conor Bryne pub in Ballard. I'll be there.

Saturday morning at 8am I got a phone call from Ron Holland in Ireland. Ron and I are the same age. Ron has four daughters.

It all doesn't help very much but it helps a little and that's good.
