Welcome Maestro

and I promise I'll never banish you for being a grumpy old bustard.

I'm one fuzzball that loves the mob on Cruising Anarchy and BP is a major reason for that.

This recent sadness in his life and the quite incredible moral support offered by forumites from across many sites is something I found seriously heartening. We've seen it before I know. I witnessed it when my dad died a couple of years back and of course none of us are likely to forget Courtney in a hurry.

Cheers to you BP.

By all means come to the Rendezvous in your Catro boat. We'll provide you with a strap on canoe sterrn for the weekend. It's going to be a very special rendezvous this year. I'm not sure what that means yet but I want it to be big. Spike always enjoyed the rendezvous.

And, if you are ever cruyising up into Port Susan swing by my house. I have a mooring in front. I'm on Tulare Beach.

Bob - my deepest condolances. I recall trading a few comments with you on one of these here forum things when you used to refer to yourself as fumblefingers.
Happy to see you have such a circle of good friends. Kinda helps at times like these.

A friend of mine. Paul Lever used to show up in his J37c Jeorgia, not sure he will for a few years, last I heard they were in Mexico. He has a blog too. I do not ge up that way as often, now being moored in edmonds vs Everett. If you look up the back GOB articles, my boat was reviewed last july/august. Another boat in edmonds is this month, Blast an S2, a dufour 27 and ranger 26 are also coming up in the next 12 months. I'd like them to review a CS37merlin that is across the dock from me, another sailnetter, along with a castro design from the same time. You can see the similarities. Probably like looking at your designs if you will from equal time frames.

Now if smacky will come up..........

Harry:
Thanks. The outpouring from sailors I don't even know has been remarkable. About 400 people showed up at Spike's wake.

Tonight there is a fund raiser for his scholarship fund starting at 7pm at the Conor Bryne pub in Ballard. I'll be there.

Saturday morning at 8am I got a phone call from Ron Holland in Ireland. Ron and I are the same age. Ron has four daughters.

It all doesn't help very much but it helps a little and that's good.

For all the support you have provided in these dark days you will always be welcome in my home. Hell, I'll even give you clean sheets.

It has been difficult but there are some people like you who have helped me thru it without pissing in my pocket. I say that with all the sincerity I can muster at the keyboard.

You have no idea and I'd like to keep it that way.

So,,,,come on up to the beach shack. We'll get the Hungster down here from SA and we will relax.

I'll keep the best room ready for you.
I'll put a wombat on the barby for you.
I'll wear my HTFU hat.
