Hey Marty, she may well be. Signed up recently she did but has been disturbingly quiet.

I just popped over to the ANYTHING SAILING web site. It's a small group with a lot of European contributors. They have raised about $1,000 for Spike's fund and are well on their way to meeting the $1,000 goal for this month.

It is humbling. I am very grateful.

Bob,
The folk at Anything Sailing have run a few fund raisers, largely for fellow sailors who were in some distress and I think that in the main they have reached their targets.
Most admirable in this fuzz ball's opinion, most admirable indeed.
Cheers

Womby:
I've been a big sook today. Somedays I'm fine but today the thoughts of Spike just built up and up until I lost it. I miss him so much.

But I have my HTFU T shirt on so I had better do it.
Thanks for the support.

Bob, let me be another to express sorrow with you. Definitely not a HTFU occasion. We will all miss out on getting that forged SA 36 along with so many future opportunities. - Charlie

Maestro,

I've just got off the phone from my 90 year old mother. She lost her husband (my step dad) a couple of years back and she was telling me how yesterday she just had a down day, today she's OK too. She reckons it was Pacini and Rachmaninov that perked her up. Music gets me through the bad times as well so you'd better keep the sad songs handy old friend cos those memories are not going away any time soon and you know what ? I betcha you'd rather go through the down days in order to remember the good times.

cheers mate

Andrew

ps - the search for new Womboat is finally over. Let you know all about it a bit later on.
