Pelagic Sailing Club Features Storyteller Dave Roper at Thursday, May 26th Meeting!
Hello Boston Sailors,
Please join the Pelagic Sailing Club for our May 26th meeting featuring Dave Roper as he tells Two True Tales from the collection of stories in his upcoming new book: “Watching for Mermaids”.
A family heads to sea to celebrate their parents’ 50 wedding anniversary and unknowingly sails into their past, encountering a most bizarre Twilight Zone experience fifteen miles off the coast of Maine.
A couple chucks it all to ‘live the dream’, quitting their jobs, selling their house, cars and furniture, and even canceling their marina slip, to head off on a world voyage that lasts 21 hours, when they realize this means being out of sight of land.
We meet at Savin Hill Yacht Club (2nd floor) at 400 Morrissey Blvd Dorchester
Pizza and drinks at 6:30pm, business meeting at 7:30pm. Speaker at 8:15pm. FREE!
