Here's a minor tweak suggestion.

Could we add a category in the "New Posts" pull-down menu for "New posts - no politics/no off topic/no news feeds"

I understand the need to avoid spambots and other abuse, but this is silly. I join the board to post about my exciting new boat. I get PMs and can't respond.
