E-Mail Spam From Saiilnet/ Not
I received a very authentic looking e-mail complete with links to my Sailnet inbox. Saying I have a new private message. However this message is not in my inbox:. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL!

I looked in member list and she is not there. I did put my e-mail in one of my posts so it could of been gotten from there. But I thought you should know. Greg
You might want to get the header for that message. It may have some relevant information for the admins.
That member was banned as soon as 'she' was discovered but she had managed to pile up enough posts and then sent 49 PMs ... must be very lonely...:rolleyes:
Anyway sorry about that, we have changed some rules now and a member must be on board 7 days AND have a minimum post count before that can happen again. An inconvenience for new members, perhaps, but it will avoid this kind of nonsense.
Anyone needing direct access to a member or mod during the 'probation period' can enable email messaging in their profile, post a note and request a followup through that avenue (your personal email is not revealed that way)
