Excuse the newbie, but, How do I share?

After joining recently and posting minimally, I get the impression that immediately after posting a new thread it probably gets seen by an Administrator first? So, hoping thats the case, I would like to share a "Boat Survey record" (a basic checklist/Questionnaire form) I put together for my own personal use. It is 6 pages long and I used my laptops Word program to design it. It's nothing fancy. I basically just copied the whole thing out of a book by Jim Howard called "Handbook of Offshore Cruising". It probably pales in comparison to a REAL survey record but I added some space for descriptions and a few questions that someone less "Salty" might ask when buying a used boat for their first time. I have no idea about copyrights or an Administrator having to scan for viruses or any of the technical stuff that this might involve. Just thought I might have an opportunity add something to this community that I CONSTANTLY draw from Let me know? Thanks, Jody

Jody... nice idea. Can you take a look at this 'sticky' thread and see if your list isn't already pretty much covered here?

Many are using this post as a guide for pre survey inspections. Have a look.

btw your posts are not vetted by admin or moderators.. if there's a problem with something posted the membership generally point that out using the 'post report' function, or one of us may 'notice' it.

Jody,

If you're going to post something that you simply copied out of someone's book I hope you'll give proper credit to the real author when it gets posted.

Yep, pretty much what I figured. Thanks for the heads up on the info.
