Re: I'm Done

Thank you for your post. I own a 42 ft catamaran and am always trying to learn until I get ready to jump off the edge of the world. I have been castigated by this forum.

Thank you for your comments.

If I could find any other forum I would be gone too.

Where are you sailing.. We may cross sails at some time

Re: I'm Done

On this, as on any other Internet forum, one has choices. One can manual ignore posters (by not reading their posts) or, if available, automatically ignore them by using the ignore function. No one is forced to read any particular post. So if you find someone's posts annoying, for whatever reason, and still read them, then the onus is on you, not them.

Re: I'm Done

Here's the thing : this forum might not be perfect, but it is very good - one of the best I've seen. I've had many excellent quality discussions - and on the rare occasions when someone has been less than helpful, or has been rude - hey, I can take it. Sometimes I have been known to get out of bed on the wrong side in the morning.

If you don't like the responses : CONTRIBUTE. I know numerous people around the marina who regularly check in on this forum, but never contribute anything. Which is a shame. Or maybe they have busier jobs than us? (joke)

Spending some time on other internet forums is constructive to form a contrast. Just try and get a word of sense out of any of the Land Rover Discovery fora out there.
