Hebridean Diary of a Serial Sailor

Just published as an electronic book on Amazon my five log books of Papillon of Carden, a 28 foot Dufour Safari Sloop, accounting for 33 years and 25,000 miles sailing in one of the last wildernesses in Western Europe, the Scottish West Coast.
She has been in continual commission for all these years without a break and if I had set off around the world in 1980, I would have returned a lot sooner!
It also contains a wee bit of Scottish philosophy(10%), and my early life as an art dealer in Glasgow(20%) although it is 70% sailing content.
Maybe not in the same as the classic "Log of the Blue Dragon", but would be of interest to sailors planning a trip in this direction. It contains over 100 original illustrations and gives an account of my many adventures including my year of sailing dangerously in 2012 when I nearly drowned in Loch Craignish as well as being rescued by the Mallaig Lifeboat in Loch Scresort Rhum.
