New MAFOR Marine Forecast Decoder iPhone App

MAFOR Marine Forecast Decoder for iPhone is now available on the App Store!
Stop messing around with pen and paper and get back to boating! Tap in the MAFOR forecast as you listen to your VHF radio and instantly view the wind speed, conditions, and times.

  • Clean and simple layout to read your MAFOR forecast, whether you’re sitting in the glaring sun waiting for something better than 3 knots on the nose or heeled over 20 degrees (because we all know it doesn’t count if you don’t bury the rail).
  • View all the marine weather forecasts you’ve entered, instead of trying to find the last forecast you wrote out in the bits of papers filling up your nav station.
  • Missed the time on the forecast? No problem! You don’t have to wait through another 15 minutes of reports of off-station buoys. See the times as hours from the start time and get the decoded codes anyway.
  • Impress your buddies with your fancy new boat gadget, without running any new wires.
