Can anyone walk me through the removal of prop coupling?
I'm removing the A4 while in the water.
have removed the three bolts and the set screw.
Do I pry out the half moon set screw next?

The set screw on my engine does not need to be touched to separate the two halves of the prop shaft coupler. The two halves probably just need a little "ecouragement" to separate. I have done mine twice simply by unbolting the 3 bolts. By the way, the half moon is called a Woodruff Key.

One way to do this is to place an appropriately sized socket at the non-propeller end of the shaft, use longer coupling bolts, and press the shaft out of the coupling by tightening the bolts and squeezing the socket between the engine-side coupling and the shaft inside the other coupling. This can be MUCH harder than it sounds. If you have three bolts on your coupling, it sounds like you have a V-drive. The longer bolts you use can't be too long or they won't fit around the shape of the coupling.
