Run forever, and Delco tune-up parts can be had for almost nothing. Also called Universal they are found in forklifts.

Atomic 4 Replacement

These are the easiest engines to work, diagnose, service and operate. Any mechanic worth his/her salt can work on them. I just removed an Atomic 4 from my Tartan 30 and will be selling it. It has all brand new components mostly from Moyer including upgrades to electronic ignition. I have converted to electric. When I bought this boat a few years back it had a frozen engine block in it. I removed that and gave it to Don Moyer, acquired this one from a guy who sailed it on Lake Champlain for many years. I've run it for a couple seasons now without any issues. Installed it myself with one helper in 1/2 day.

LonABishop, that post was two years ago, I'm guessing the A4 is gone.
