CDI or Indigo prop?

Just purchased our first sailboat, a 77 Ranger 28, which has an Atomic 4. It has a folding racing prop on it, and I'm told by the former owner and others that reverse is practically non-existant. I'm reading a lot of good things about these two props and the Atomic 4 with regards to RPM and reverse capabilities.

What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks...

Mike

In my case, a 12" prop wouldn't fit -- I have the 10" Indigo and I have just an inch or so of clearance with the bottom of my Newport 28.

However, I get great results out of the Indigo blade: 6+ kts at 2100 rpm and very little prop walk in reverse, and great reverse to boot.

Hope this helps some. Good luck!
